INITIAL SKETCHES: Above are examples of some of my initial loose sketches while in my preliminary ideation phase. I then reviewed concepts with my design director before going on to develop further refined sketches.
REFINED SKETCHES: Above you can see at this point I have refined my ideas and created 2 different directions for the outerwear collection based on feedback from my design director. I was then given the go ahead on some styles, while being asked to combine ideas and from both collections and further edit and redesign some styles.
DOWN VEST: Above you can see my final design for the down vest and the first 2 pages of the tech pack I created followed by screen grabs of Ghostface Killah wearing the vest in a commercial for CP3 "Riquickulous"
HyPERPLY JACKET: This jacket was designed for high level performance to be worn while playing outdoor basketball. I worked closely with the Nike innovation lab to incorporate their research on light-weight mobility into my design which included several check-ins throughout the design process. The style was carefully crafted using varying levels of down fill and a unique sleeve and hood construction which allow the jacket to move with the body as demonstrated in the ad campaign above that shows the jacket twisting while suspended in space.
